Dubai Mall: What to Do at Shopping?

Dubai Mall

Dubai Mall is one of the main tourist attractions in the city. It surprised retailers in all countries for being the largest and most complete shopping mall built in the world to date.

We can also say that of the malls we know, it was the one we liked the most. So, we can say that for us it is the best mall in the world.

You will find all kinds of stores, for all tastes and budgets. Did you think of a store? It most likely exists at The Dubai Mall. The best stores are present at the mall!

It's impossible to walk all over the mall in just one day. The Dubai Mall has 500 thousand square meters and is equivalent to a total of 50 soccer fields! It's so big that it has a golf cart service for shoppers who don't want to walk far or carry their bags.

What to buy at Dubai Mall?

Despite its luxurious facilities at the Mall, you can find everything from local crafts to designer clothes, electronics, chocolates, books and home decor.

Downstairs, you'll find the Souk, an indoor market that resembles a bazaar with more than 200 mini-shops filled with souvenirs, perfumes, rugs and goldsmiths and jewelry. Here you are sure to find something to take home to remember from your vacation.

In addition to the shops, the Mall is home to many upscale restaurants and fast food chains with culinary proposals from all over the world.

Inside the Dubai Mall there is a giant aquarium, whose protection is considered the “largest acrylic canvas in the world”, 32 meters wide and 8 meters high. The aquarium is impressive and the variety of fish is huge.

The Dubai Aquarium has earned several mentions, including a Guinness world record for the largest indoor aquarium. Among the 200 species of underwater animals, it is home to the largest collection of sand tiger sharks.

You can witness the wonderful views outside, or pay to walk through the tunnel that will give you a unique perspective of all the underwater animals.

How to get to Dubai Mall?

Depending on the location of your hotel, you have several options to get to the Mall, the first and most comfortable option is to order a taxi, depending on the area you are in, a taxi can cost 40 Durhams (11 dollars).

Another quick and economical way to travel to the Mall is to take the subway, specifically the Red Line to Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall station. It is necessary to emphasize that the Mall is connected to the subway by a covered walkway with air conditioning, to insulate from the high temperatures that Dubai has in summer.

You can also take the bus to reach the Mall, specifically line 27. Keep in mind that the Mall has 12 free buses that depart from various hotels in the city. Check with your travel agency to see if your hotel is included in the list of hotels with shuttle service to the Mall.

Schedules:

The Mall is open to the public every day from 10:00 am to midnight, although on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the hours are generally extended until 1:00 pm.

The suggested duration to visit the Dubai Mall

I think Dubai Mall is capable of keeping a visitor busy for a few days, because it's impossible to see the entire mall in one day. The place is so big without exaggeration even visitors always get lost among it.
